Primary Responsibilities for the Outpatient Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner:
- Conducts assessments by ordering, collecting, interpreting, and evaluating laboratory and diagnostic tests to determine patient health issues and care requirements.
- Prescribes and recommends medical therapies or other therapeutic interventions, ensuring adherence to established protocols and focusing on effectiveness, safety, and cost-efficiency.
- Suggests lifestyle modifications to address health risk behaviors.
- Performs additional duties as required based on clinic and patient needs.
Essential Qualifications for the Outpatient Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner:
- Valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner Licensure in Oregon.
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Recent experience in Cardiology or Internal Medicine.
- New Nurse Practitioner graduates are welcome, provided they have recent experience as a Cardiology or Internal Medicine Registered Nurse.
Compensation and Work Schedule for the Outpatient Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner:
- Potential total compensation exceeding $140K.
- Up to $20K signing bonus.
- Annual performance-based bonuses.

- Support for student loan repayment.
- Work schedule of four 10-hour days per week, with no on-call duties.
