Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Registration & Scheduler. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing general registration duties, including interviewing patients or their representatives, entering accurate information onto appropriate forms and computer systems, collecting co-payments, and obtaining signatures. You will also be required to maintain scheduling for the department and/or specialized procedures, coordinate services with physicians' offices, and verify room and equipment availability if necessary.

Responsibilities:
* Interview patients or their representatives to obtain necessary information
* Enter accurate information onto appropriate forms and computer systems
* Collect co-payments and obtain signatures
* Maintain scheduling for the department and/or specialized procedures
* Coordinate services with physicians' offices and other related departments
* Verify room and equipment availability if necessary

Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience
* 1 year of recent relevant experience
* Knowledge of medical terminology, including diagnostic tests, surgeries, consultations, and procedures
* Ability to interpret various data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including prioritizing assignments and working within standardized policies and procedures
* General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
