We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from physical, emotional, and cognitive deficits.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, and cognitive deficits.
  • Assess patients' ability to safely and effectively perform independent living skills.
  • Design and implement individualized plans of care, including type and frequency of treatment.
  • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families/caregivers about patient deficits and provide information on adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Oversee the care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and technicians.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider and OTR credentialed from the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
