Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities:
Installation:
Execute the installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment, adhering to both local and national electrical standards. This role may involve new construction initiatives or upgrades to existing electrical systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
Maintenance:
Perform regular inspections and maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal safety and functionality. This includes monitoring for wear, corrosion, and other potential hazards.
Repairs:
Identify and rectify electrical issues, such as malfunctioning wiring, outlets, and circuit breakers. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills to mitigate electrical risks, including the fabrication of replacement components when necessary. Vendor management may also be part of this role.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of journeyman experience in industrial electrical work.
- Strong verbal communication skills with management and peers.
- Basic experience with PLC diagnostics.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in an agricultural setting.
- 2-4 year technical or college certificate preferred, or equivalent experience.
- OSHA 10 certification.
Additional Information:
- Some overnight travel may be required, but will not exceed 25% of the time.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance are necessary.
- Tools and a company vehicle will be provided.
- Responsible for maintaining required certifications in different states.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in confined spaces, as well as at heights exceeding 100 feet.
