Key Responsibilities:
The Cardiovascular Clinical Coordinator (CCC) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and scheduling within the Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, and Interventional Radiology Lab, ensuring optimal efficiency and resource coordination. The CCC works closely with management to address operational matters.

The incumbent serves as a role model, promoting a positive work environment that encourages proactive communication, effective problem-solving, time management, and accountability for standards, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.

The CCC monitors daily activities and performance improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and departmental policies. They intervene and document issues as necessary. Additionally, the CCC oversees staff competencies, orientation, education, and cross-training in collaboration with clinical educators and management. They also conduct performance reviews, participate in hiring processes, and manage disciplinary actions when required. The CCC coordinates daily schedules, approves time off, and manages the monthly on-call schedule, serving as a resource for all staff.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or related field.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification is also necessary.
  • Must obtain RCIS certification within the first year of employment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting is required.
  • Current ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification is mandatory.
  • Valid Oklahoma RN Licensure is essential.
