Clinical Operations Manager

As a Clinical Operations Manager at Prisma Health, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of our clinics, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of quality healthcare to our patients. This role requires strong leadership skills, advanced knowledge and skill in nursing theory and practice, and the ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and other activities related to direct patient care.
- Field and direct clinical telephone calls.
- Participate in the assessment of clinical staffing needs by maintaining a master work schedule, adjusting staffing levels, and forecasting staffing needs.
- Develop and conduct orientation and in-service training for clinical staff.
- Develop, implement, and maintain emergency preparedness plans for clinical response.
- Serve as the chief liaison between clinical staff and physicians.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of quality improvement by incident reports, patient complaints, and suggestions, current practices, and actions taken.
- Develop and conduct programs for enhancing patient satisfaction.
- Monitor local, state, and federal regulations affecting operations and assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of appropriate policies and procedures.
- Contact vendors for repair or routine service of medical equipment.
- Maintain adequate levels of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
- Responsible for adherence to DEA, DHEC, CLIA, and other regulatory agency policies and procedures.
- Oversee physician schedules.
- Associate's Degree - Nursing.
- 2 Years - Nursing experience in the specialty area with physician office practice experience preferred.
- 1 year nursing experience in the specialty area and 2 years' experience as a non-RN clinical coordinator in a physician practice.
- 1 year nursing experience and 5 years of Medical Assistant experience.
- SC Registered Nurse.
- CPR Certification.
