Maintenance Director

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Director to oversee the physical aspects of our community. As part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities meet company standards and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians through diagnosing problems and providing solutions.">
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, make-ready schedules, and general work order schedules for the team.">
• Partner with office staff to provide exceptional service and follow-up to residents on any maintenance issues that may arise.">
• Manage and organize inventory of all maintenance materials.">
• Regularly inspect community buildings, including vacant units, to ensure compliance with company standards.">
• Planning, assigning, and directing the work of the maintenance team.">

Requirements:

• ">
• A valid driver's license and good driving record.">
• A live within a 30-minute commute of the property.">
• HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification.">
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.">
• 1 or more years of managerial experience, preferably at an apartment community.">
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).">
• The ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.">
