AEG Vision is seeking a skilled Optician to join our team. As an Optician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive exceptional eye care and eyewear solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and provide personalized recommendations for eyewear and eye care products.
  • Conduct thorough eye exams and measurements to ensure accurate prescriptions and proper fit.
  • Interpret prescriptions and create work orders for lab technicians.
  • Dispense glasses and ensure proper fit, adjusting as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on company and industry products, procedures, and manufacturer rebates.
  • Collaborate with technicians, front desk associates, and managers to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of one-year experience working as an Optician (strongly preferred)
  • Experience with HIPAA requirements (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Dependability and punctuality
