Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Mercy Medical Center Home Health and Hospice. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive skilled services to patients, including evaluating their level of functioning, developing individualized plans of care, and implementing interventions to improve their range of motion, muscle strength, and coordination.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services to patients in their homes
  • Evaluate patients' level of functioning and develop individualized plans of care
  • Implement interventions to improve patients' range of motion, muscle strength, and coordination
  • Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • Current license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of employment
  • Minimum one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
