About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Scooter's Coffee. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our food grade multi-temperature distribution center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the physical inventory in support of internal manufacturing and vendor-supplied inventory.
  • Lead a team of warehouse and office employees, as well as delivery drivers, to ensure timely and accurate shipments and deliveries.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve inventory accuracy, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Manage and maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of warehouse employees.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in managing a food-based distribution facility.
  • Proven track record of leading and influencing teams through supervisory levels.
  • Experience working with cross-functional partners in problem-solving and strategy development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift certification preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in systems such as Word, Excel, Softeon WMS platforms, UPS Worldship, NetSuite ERP, or similar applications.

Physical Demands

  • Able to meet the following physical demands, either with or without a reasonable accommodation:
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 75 pounds frequently throughout a day.
  • Stand, sit, stoop, climb, kneel, and crouch occasionally throughout a day.
  • Hear, see, and speak within a loud environment.
  • Work in varying temperature zones, from freezer temperatures to non-air-conditioned temperatures in the summer.
