Job Title: Surgical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at PHP. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Job Summary:

The Surgical Technician will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the operating room, assisting surgeons and anesthesiologists, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room, including setting up equipment and supplies.
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, as needed.
  • Ensure the highest level of patient care, including maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technician in a hospital or surgical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
