Structural Fitter Job Description

LaborOne Staffing is seeking a skilled Structural Fitter to join our team for a long-term project in the Ingleside, TX area. As a Structural Fitter, you will be responsible for performing steel structural work in all stages of new construction of marine vessels.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform steel structural work with minimal supervision
  • Build and repair large structures and platforms
Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of procedures and strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow directions
  • Experience in the trade, knowledge of ship terminology, and ability to interpret job specifications and drawings
