We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Support Permanent Placement.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will perform mammography procedures in accordance with standards of practice and organizational policies. They will review patient history, schedule appointments, and educate patients on procedures and equipment. Additionally, they will prepare and administer contrast media and medications as ordered, monitor patient condition, and report changes.
Responsibilities- Perform mammography procedures in accordance with standards of practice and organizational policies.
- Review patient history, schedule appointments, and educate patients on procedures and equipment.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as ordered.
- Monitor patient condition, report changes, and assist with interventional procedures.
- Prepare equipment, ensure safety standards, troubleshoot equipment issues, and maintain compliance with regulations.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or registry eligible with completing of registry within 12 months by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or ARRT (R) + state provisional mammographer registration and ARRT (M) within 12 months.
- No minimum experience required.

We offer a competitive salary of $54.28 an hour, depending on year of experience and internal equity.
