Job Overview

The YMCA of Greater Boston seeks a highly skilled and experienced Aquatics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our aquatics department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pools and aquatic programs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, organizing, directing, budgeting, and evaluating of aquatic programs in accordance with the YMCA's mission, purposes, and policies.
  • Orientate, train, and supervise all staff related to your area of responsibility.
  • Act on behalf of the Aquatic Director/Assistant Aquatics Director in their absence and work within the guidelines of aquatic policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age, with YMCA Lifeguarding certification. If Red Cross certified, the employee must cross over to YMCA certification within six months of hire.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
