Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Immigration Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our Immigration Team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of immigration cases, representing clients in removal proceedings, and collaborating with our team of attorneys and legal assistants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Case Management
    • Manage a caseload of immigration cases, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions
    • Review and prepare immigration applications/packets for submission to USCIS
    • Develop and implement strategies for clients to achieve their immigration goals
  • Client Representation
    • Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals
    • Conduct intakes with detained individuals at centers
    • Prepare clients for court testimony and provide legal analysis to determine potential case benefits
  • Team Collaboration
    • Collaborate with our team of attorneys and legal assistants to achieve our clients' immigration goals
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies for clients

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in immigration law
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience with Case Management Software is preferred
