Position Details:
We are in search of an experienced Millwork Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in millwork design, cabinetry, custom casework, and countertops, along with proficiency in design software such as Inventor and Mozaik. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and offers the chance to engage in diverse and stimulating projects where creativity and analytical skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design detailed millwork packages for various projects.
- Utilize design software like Inventor and Mozaik to produce precise and detailed designs.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure all millwork aligns with project specifications and design objectives.
- Create and modify drawings for custom cabinetry and countertops.
- Review and verify all millwork drawings for accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate millwork components into the overall project design.
- Provide technical support for manufacturing and installation challenges related to millwork.
- Continuously enhance knowledge and skills in millwork design and engineering.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in millwork design and engineering, focusing on custom cabinetry and countertops.
- Proficient in design software such as Inventor and Mozaik.
- In-depth knowledge of woodwork, cabinetry, and casework.
- Strong understanding of millwork manufacturing and installation processes.
- Excellent technical drawing and drafting capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and creativity in addressing design challenges.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well within a diverse team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline is preferred.
