**Senior Culinary Role**
Catering Services International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Kitchen Manager to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the efficient running of our busy kitchen, providing three nutritious meals each day to a large residential accommodation for groups of up to 39 children and their accompanying adults.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Farm School Manager, Office Manager, and Assistant Cooks to ensure the needs of resident groups are met and that the highest standards of nutrition, food quality, food hygiene, and health and safety are maintained.
As a working farm, with an extensive kitchen garden operation, the Senior Kitchen Manager plays a critically important role in the wider management of the site, working closely with our Farm Operations Team to ensure we make the most of opportunities to rear, grow, and use our own produce.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service
- Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our residents
- Work closely with the Farm Operations Team to source and use fresh, seasonal produce
- Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and health and safety are maintained
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in a senior kitchen management role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our residents
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
