As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill neuro patients who require specialized nursing and medical attention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill neuro patients, including those with traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other critical neurologic pathologies.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest critical care practices and technologies.

Requirements:

  • RN License (valid in the United States).
  • Two (2) years of RN experience in ICU acute care, with a focus on neurocritical care.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain current in knowledge of critical care practices and technologies.
  • Telemetry experience required.

Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association).
  • ACLS (American Heart Association).
  • Telemetry experience required.
