Janitorial Assistant

Craft-Bilt Manufacturing Co. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our Souderton, PA facility.

This role involves general cleaning, sanitizing, and trash management, as well as minor maintenance tasks and special projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust to keep the plant spotless.
• Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
• Trash Management: Empty trash receptacles and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
• Minor Maintenance: Change light bulbs, replace air filters, and tackle minor maintenance tasks.
• Safety First: Follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals and equipment with care.

Requirements:

• Experience: High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years of housekeeping experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Independence: Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to Detail: Able to read and follow instructions on cleaning products and safety sheets.
• Flexibility: Ready to handle emergencies and perform snow removal when necessary.

Work Environment:

Plant Dynamics: Work in various plant areas with occasional noise and temperature variations. PPE like safety glasses and hearing protection may be required.

Dress Accordingly: Layer up in colder months and be prepared for warmer conditions in the summer.
