Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for conducting procedures and tests using MRI equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.

Responsibilities
  • Verify patient identification and obtain patient history
  • Operate MRI scanners and administer contrast agents
  • Interpret protocols and select appropriate scanning parameters
  • Administer oral and IV contrast agents
  • Transfer images to PACS and verify accuracy
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
  • Advanced certification in MR within one year of employment
  • Current competency in HCP BLS
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The work schedule is evening shifts, with opportunities for overtime. The location of the job is UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC.
