We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac ICU team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including unstable angina, myocardial infarctions, arrhythmias, and sepsis.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and record patient conditions, utilizing computerized documentation systems to ensure accurate and timely communication.
- Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines, facilitating well-coordinated patient care and discharge planning needs.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in cardiovascular care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia.
- Experience in critical care, particularly in cardiovascular nursing, is highly desirable.
