Position Overview:
The Case School of Engineering (CSE) is inviting applications for a faculty role at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor within the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE). Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive research and teaching that advances the understanding and application of advanced manufacturing concepts.

  • Conduct experimental work that integrates various technologies to monitor evolving microstructures during processing.
  • Develop innovative computational algorithms and statistical methods for data management and visualization.
  • Investigate the multi-scale structure and properties of materials to understand their performance characteristics.

Qualifications:
For the Assistant Professor level, candidates must possess a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering or a related field, along with a demonstrated record of impactful research in materials manufacturing. Candidates at the Associate Professor level must provide evidence of a national reputation in research, a distinguished publication record, and effective mentoring practices.
