Procurement Associate

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Associate to join our team at MVP Health Care. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in obtaining medical records for our Risk Adjustment team.

• Work with provider offices and facilities to collect medical records under tight deadlines.
• Develop strong relationships with local provider offices to ensure seamless communication and record collection.
• Utilize technical skills to learn new EMR systems and make decisions on the best way to obtain medical records.
• Collaborate with I.T. to access provider offices remotely and scan, download, merge, and rename patient charts and other records.
• Process provider payments and invoices, and update work lists in Excel.

• High school diploma required with 2 years of healthcare experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year experience in a claims processing, healthcare, or related position required.
• Proven ability to use effective time management skills and excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communication and adaptability skills in sometimes difficult situations.
• Experience using Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and Excel.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required.
