Key Responsibilities of the Level II Computed Radiographer:
- Conduct Level II Computed Radiography inspections and various NDE evaluations as per the company's established protocols.
- Operate and maintain Computed Radiography equipment, software, and hardware in compliance with company standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Set up and calibrate testing instruments and materials.
- Determine and manage radiation areas effectively.
- Apply testing criteria in line with relevant specifications or standards and assess outcomes.
- Analyze and interpret product results according to construction codes or client specifications.
- Organize and document test findings.
- Ensure the production of high-quality radiographs.
- Meet travel requirements as necessary.
- Manage and complete projects of varying durations.
- Engage with customer/client representatives on a daily basis.
- Deliver completed products in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.
- Establish and uphold all safety protocols throughout project execution.
- Train assistants effectively in compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and NVI, LLC's SNT-TC-1A written practice.
- Consistently meet deadlines set by management or clients.
- Maintain a positive attitude while working on projects.
- Perform any additional tasks necessary to fulfill Level II responsibilities as outlined by the company.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Current Level II Computed Radiography certification.
- Valid State Radiographers card or IRRSP card.
- A minimum of 80 hours of documented Radiography Level I and II training.
- A minimum of 40 hours of documented Computed Radiography training.
- 16 hours of documented CR Software/Hardware training (GE/Waygate or VMI preferred).
- Familiarity with relevant welding codes, such as ASME, API, AWS, etc.
- Documented list of projects managed as a Level II Computed Radiographer.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to pass Motor Vehicle History Evaluations.
- Ability to pass an FBI background verification in accordance with the company's Increased Controls program.
- Ability to pass the company's Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty, and Ergonomic Testing policies/procedures.
- Ability to successfully complete the company's Level II Computed Radiography certification process.
- ANST/ACCP Level II MT, PT, UTT Certifications, or documented field hours and classroom education that meets or exceeds SNT-TC-1A certification requirements for methods of MT, PT, UTT.
- Ability to pass the company's Level II MT, PT, and UTT certification process.
