About the Position

As a Clydesdale Handler, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch animal care and maintenance for our beloved Budweiser Clydesdales. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Feeding, watering, and grooming the horses.
  • Cleaning and polishing leather harnesses and brass fixtures.
  • Maintaining display stable facilities and equipment.
  • Transporting the Clydesdales using tractor-trailers and other horse hauling equipment.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and promoting the Budweiser brand.
Responsibilities

Some key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Clean and maintain stalls, replace bedding, clean and maintain display stable facility.
  • Assist with administering care of Clydesdales: feed, water, groom, and etc.
  • Clean and polish leather harnesses and brass / clean & polish wagon.
  • Maintain trucks, wagon, equipment, tools, etc.
  • Operate tractor / trailers and assist with set up of portable stalls / display.
  • Perform public relations / interact with public & media.
  • Assist in performing all aspects of showing the horses.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Daily care and maintenance of Clydesdales, Dalmatians, facilities, and all equipment.
  • Ensure every guest, AB employee, and wholesaler receives the best customer experience.
  • Market and promote the Budweiser Clydesdales and Budweiser brand to consumer, field sales, and wholesalers.
  • Drive tractor trailer and other horse hauling equipment to ensure safe and reliable transportation for Clydesdales.
  • Assist with the coordination of specialized animal care and provide urgent care when necessary.
  • Hold class A CDL, or willing to obtain a CDL.
  • Able to travel with hitch across the U.S. as needed.
