The Providence St Vincent Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical Charge Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of nurses in the surgical department.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- RN license in state of hire and wherever care is provided upon hire.
- 1 year nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
