Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and courteous Concierge Weekends to provide exceptional guest services to our patients and visitors at Advocate Health. As a Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their experience with our hospital. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our guests receive a warm and welcoming experience, making them feel valued and respected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests, assessing their immediate needs and providing assistance as needed.
• Manage the first impression of our facility, ensuring that our guests feel comfortable and at ease.
• Offer assistance with parking, transportation, and other needs, working closely with our volunteers and hospital staff to ensure a smooth experience.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area, reporting any security or safety issues to our Public Safety Services Department immediately.
• Collaborate with hospital support staff, including Public Safety, Environmental Services, and Patient Transport, to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in service management as a concierge or greeter in a large public facility.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our guests.
• Ability to stand, walk, and run throughout the work area, as well as withstand exposure to weather elements and push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
