Reporting To: Community Manager & Service Supervisor

Work Schedule: Hours will vary based on community requirements, potentially including weekends and after-hours emergency services. Full-time positions typically consist of 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, with some part-time opportunities available.

Physical Requirements: Medium work (occasionally exerting up to 25 lbs. of force), including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, and hearing. Visual acuity is necessary for operating basic cleaning tools. Work may be subject to weather conditions.

Drug Testing: Pre-employment, post-injury, reasonable suspicion, and potential random screenings.

General Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all facets of community operations under the guidance of the Service Supervisor & Community Manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with professional knowledge in a relevant field.
  • Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and achieve assigned goals.
  • Problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Team-oriented with effective verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to collaborate with staff, clients, supervisors, corporate associates, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to manage inventory and materials.
  • Physical capability to lift/exert 25 lbs. of force and handle cleaning chemicals.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred, but training is available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning Standards
    1. Maintain cleanliness in the office and lobby according to the established schedule.
    2. Collect and dispose of trash daily.
    3. Ensure restrooms are cleaned, serviced, and stocked daily.
    4. Perform touch-up cleaning on model units as scheduled.
    5. Keep trash collection areas tidy after pickups.
    6. Polish and clean furniture and fixtures in common areas.
    7. Clean low-level windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
    8. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment in fitness areas.
    9. Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water and detergent according to specifications.
    10. Steam clean or shampoo carpets as required or per schedule.
    11. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors as necessary.
    12. Report any major repair needs in common areas to the Community Manager or Service Supervisor and submit service requests.
    13. Complete requisitions for cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
    14. Set up and remove decorations, tables, and chairs for events as required.
    15. Perform other related duties as assigned.
    16. Adhere to all safety protocols while performing tasks.
    17. Provide courteous and pleasant service to residents, ensuring a five-star experience.
