Job Summary

As a Food Court Associate at The GIANT Company, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food court. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and serving food, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and working collaboratively with our team to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and serve food to customers, including making sandwiches, subs, and pizza
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces
* Work collaboratively with the team to meet customer needs and resolve any issues that may arise
* Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

Requirements

* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
* Must be able to communicate and understand Company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily
* Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation
* Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job

Working Conditions

* Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs
* Job cycles: continual max
* Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
* Stand 55%, Sit 0%, Walk 45%
* Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
* Max pull static: 20 lbs.
* Temperatures ranging from freezer environment to back room that is not air-conditioned - exposure to weather conditions
