Position Overview

Under minimal supervision, the role involves providing technical support in the sterile processing environment, focusing on the preparation and distribution of essential supplies and equipment for patient care. The technician is responsible for upholding departmental standards regarding quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

The individual will:

  • Execute sterile processing and distribution tasks within the Central Processing Department.
  • Adhere to and promote Customer Service Standards.
  • Support and implement safety practices related to patient care.
Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year in a relevant field - Mandatory
  • Certification from CBSPD or HSPA (IAHCSMM) - Mandatory
  • Experience in Decontamination, Pre & Pack, Sterilization, Case Cart, and Sterile Storage - Mandatory

Profile Requirements:

  • Documented work history
  • Current Skills Checklist relevant to the specialty
  • Two supervisory references with employment dates
  • Note any eligibility issues for working in the USA on the profile
  • All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission
Certification Requirements
  • BLS Certification
  • HSPA (IAHCSMM) Certification
Additional Information

Weekend Requirements: No weekend shifts required.

On Call Requirements: No on-call duties expected.
