Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans according to established protocols and procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Obtain and document patient history, medical information, and other relevant details, ensuring complete and accurate records.
  • Administer contrast material and start IVs as prescribed by radiologists, monitoring patient condition during procedures.
  • Perform quality assurance tests on CT equipment, maintaining clean and well-maintained equipment.
  • Assist in orienting new associates and training personnel on new radiology systems or equipment.
Requirements
  • 12-24 months experience in radiology, with a graduate degree from a Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT Registration, IDNS License, CPR Certification, and IV Certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Knowledge of principles of CT, anatomy, and equipment operation.
