Wood County Hospital is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. The Housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring that assigned areas of the hospital are maintained in a clean, sanitary, and welcoming condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean restrooms and restock necessary supplies.
  • Dust and wipe down vents, cabinets, surfaces, and counters.
  • Execute discharge cleaning protocols for patient units.
  • Perform vacuuming and carpet extraction as required.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning solutions for mopping and floor maintenance.
  • Safely operate floor care equipment, including electric machines and vacuums.
  • Scrub, strip, and refinish floors using specialized machinery.

Shift Information:

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Available on First, Second, and Third Shift

Weekend and holiday rotations are part of the schedule.

Qualifications:

Preferred experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
