Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Neurophysiology Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of neurodiagnostic procedures, including EEGs, to diagnose neurological disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of neurodiagnostic procedures and be able to work independently in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities- Perform EEGs and other neurodiagnostic procedures to diagnose neurological disorders
- Work independently in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, physicians, and other interdisciplinary staff
- Meet patient and departmental needs by working flexible hours
- Stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time
- Push or pull equipment up to 20 lbs
- Lift equipment/supplies up to 10 lbs
- Lift and move neonatal through adult patient populations
- Assemble complex equipment and perform fine motor skills
- Completion of an electroneurodiagnostic (END) program
- Associate's degree in Neurosciences or related field, or Bachelor's degree in Neurosciences or related field
- One year of EEG experience preferred
- Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross
