Full-Time Therapist for Unaccompanied Minors

Catholic Social Services, in partnership with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, is seeking a Full-Time Therapist to join our team in a program providing foster care, treatment, and educational services to assist unaccompanied children entering the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct intake risk assessments within 72 hours of clients being admitted into the program.
  • Screen for trafficking or other concerns and make referrals as needed.
  • Provide a minimum of weekly individual counseling sessions.
  • Provide family therapy sessions, as needed.
  • Provide twice weekly group therapy sessions with all clients in the program.
  • Provide clinical supervisor with regular updates on each client's progress.
  • Participate in weekly individual and group supervision with a licensed supervisor.
  • Attend required trainings.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling.
  • Must be licensed or license eligible.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency.
  • Ability to be flexible, creative, and work in a diverse setting.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Demonstrated cross-cultural sensitivity.
