Dental Equipment Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Burkhart Dental Supply. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client experiences while performing onsite repair and installation of dental equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Exceptional Client Experience: Build relationships with clients and perform timely repairs and installation services for both basic and complex equipment/projects.
- Support Burkhart's Profitability: Complete all service orders at the time of service and review the work performed and parts used (or ordered) with the client or responsible staff member before leaving the client's office.
- Complete Repairs that Impress: Consistently troubleshoot and perform repairs that keep our offices up and running, educating office staff on how to use and maintain their equipment.
- Complete Installations that Impress: Lead installation teams, ensuring on-time project completion, completing punch-list on final visit, and ensuring there are no call backs.
- Work Safely: Be aware of safety for yourself and others, use the proper personal protective equipment, be alert, lift appropriately, drive safely, report hazards, and follow safe jobsite rules.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate in a timely, polite, and professional manner with internal and external customers as needed regarding the progress of the assignment.
- Follow Policies and Procedures: Comply with all terms of the Fleet Management Policy, including safe driving, maintenance, cleanliness, and accident management policies. Drive any vehicle as assigned.
- Maintain Preparedness: Maintain van inventory levels as per Burkhart policy and keep tools in good working order, demonstrating exceptional levels of organization.
- Demonstrate Professional Development: Attend trainings and meetings as scheduled, proactively seek assistance, follow learning plan, meet training milestones, and demonstrate competency in a timely manner.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 3+ Years of Customer Service Experience
- 3+ Years of Technician Experience on a Variety of Equipment
- Ability to Travel: Travel by car and airplane to client offices, meetings, trainings, and events as assigned. Out of town travel of up to 50% may be required, depending on territory.
- Maintain a Valid Driver's License: Maintain a valid driver's license, maintain a good driving record (as defined by Burkhart's liability insurance), and be insurable at all times.
