We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN Infection Control Coordinator to join our team at TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center. As a key member of our infection prevention and control team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.

About the Role

The RN Infection Control Coordinator will be responsible for identifying, investigating, reporting, and preventing the spread of hospital-associated infections among patients and healthcare personnel. This will involve conducting concurrent infection control surveillance, utilizing targeted patient and employee surveillance indicators, and analyzing infection control data to present to appropriate audiences.

You will also be responsible for developing, reviewing, and revising infection control policies and procedures, as well as implementing a system for identifying, investigating, reporting, and preventing the spread of hospital-associated infections.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in infection control practice in a hospital setting
  • Certification by the Board of Practitioners of Infection Control and Epidemiology, preferred
  • Bachelors in Nursing, preferred
