About the Position

The City of Blue Ash is seeking a part-time Child Care Aide to join our Recreation Department team. As a Child Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and engaging environment for children in our Tot Room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care and Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of children in the Tot Room, providing individualized attention and care as needed.
  • Sanitation and Cleaning: Maintain a clean and sanitized environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Administrative Tasks: Check in attendees, complete daily paperwork, and utilize computer software to track attendance and activities.
  • Scheduling: Work a variable schedule, including mornings and evenings, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 6-14 hours per week.
Requirements
  • Age and Certification: Be at least 18 years old and possess or be willing to receive CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Personality and Skills: Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude, patience, and physical stamina to work with children. Possess good communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
