Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic OB/GYN team at Geisinger Health System. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to the advancement of women's health services.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.
- Deliver expert care and support to patients throughout their healthcare journey, from routine check-ups to complex medical conditions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and collaboration.
- Pursue ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in women's health.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field (Physician Assistant preferred).
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an OB/GYN setting, preferably as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Certification in Basic Life Support and a valid state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and healthcare teams.
