Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement best practices for simulation and practice lab experiences
- Collaborate with course faculty to design and evaluate simulation and practice lab activities
- Work with the Simulation and Laboratory Director to ensure the implementation of best practices in simulation education
- Provide faculty education and training in simulation scenario development and implementation
- Assist in the oversight of practice lab hours and simulation activities
- Develop annual goals for simulation activities and assess their impact
- Collaborate with the Simulation and Laboratory Director to serve as a school liaison and network with local, regional, and national organizations
- Graduate degree in Nursing
- Unencumbered RN license in North Carolina
- Experience in simulation and education in the clinical laboratory setting
- Willingness to seek Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator credential
- 2-3 years of experience in simulation or clinical learning leadership
- Doctoral degree in nursing or related field
- Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator
- Knowledge of best practices and innovation in simulation education
