AG RX is seeking qualified CDL A Local Tractor Drivers for our operations.

Requirements: Valid Class A CDL is essential.

Tanker Endorsement is mandatory; Hazmat endorsement is preferred.

Reporting to the Row Crop Supervisor, the Tractor Driver will be tasked with applying liquid and dry fertilizers, as well as chemicals to row crops using a tractor or truck.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the use of appropriate safety gear when handling chemicals, including goggles, respirators, gloves, boots, helmets, and coveralls, in compliance with Company Safety Policies.
  • Maintain and care for all safety equipment properly.
  • Drive company vehicles to transport tools and supplies, including loading and unloading tractors onto trailers for job sites.
  • Safely transport, handle, and store Hazardous Materials and their containers.
  • Apply liquid and dry fertilizers and chemicals to crops efficiently and safely.
  • Load and unload necessary equipment, fertilizers, and chemicals for assigned tasks.
  • Deliver liquid and dry fertilizers as required.
  • Perform maintenance and servicing on assigned equipment, reporting any issues to the shop supervisor.
  • Collaborate with all departments to maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.
  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment and accurately complete inspection logs.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Valid CDL A License with Tanker Endorsement.
  • Hazmat Endorsement is preferred.
  • 1-3 Months of Relevant Experience or Training.
  • Must pass DOT Physical Examination.
  • Certified Forklift Operator.
  • Able to lift between 25-50 lbs.
