We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Travel Nurse RN PCU, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit setting, with a preference for 2 years of experience.
- Valid RN license in the state of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
