Telecommunications Construction Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team in the telecommunications construction industry. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for completing general labor duties related to telecommunications construction, including loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of various types, sizes, and weights of construction materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform all phases of underground construction, including loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of construction materials and equipment.
- Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling.
- Climb in and out of equipment, such as trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.
- Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery.
- Work in congested or remote areas, maintaining visual and audible contact with other crew members and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement.
- Perform general construction work under the direction of a Foreman/Supervisor.
- Maintain safe working habits and conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be authorized to work in the United States for this company.
- Have a valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Have basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner.
- Have basic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- May have experience in the utility construction industry.
- May have the ability to read prints and interpret utility maps to identify the type and size of underground utilities.
- Be able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
- Be able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance.
- Be able to work over-time; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or on-call.
- Be able to maintain a safe work environment.
- Be able to work in all weather conditions.
