We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team in the Cell Therapy Laboratory and Blood Bank Department.
About the RoleThe Medical Laboratory Scientist will perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures, and related duties. This includes utilizing scientific principles, technical, procedural, and problem-solving aptitudes for day-to-day laboratory technical operations, quality control, quality assurance, procedure/instrument maintenance, and corrective action.

- Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities
- Maintain procedures and instruments
- Take corrective action as needed
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and completion of a NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program, or a Bachelor's degree and one to two years of experience/training acceptable to the ASCP or AMT. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist from the ASCP or AMT within 12 months of hire date is also required.
