Per Diem Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Nurse to join our team at MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, Washington. As a Per Diem Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your nursing skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized patient care, prioritizing and delegating tasks as needed
- Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure seamless care transitions and improve patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and experience
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and evidence-based guidelines to provide best-in-class care
- Current RN license in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL)
- 1+ year of experience in acute care setting, preferably in PACU
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
- Ability to work variable shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
