Pharmacy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Bouvier Pharmacy & Home Medical Solutions.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist. You will also receive training on our state-of-the-art pharmacy automation robot, ensuring efficient and accurate medication dispensing.

No 3rd shift or Sundays, providing a healthy work-life balance.

• Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients, adhering to strict quality control measures.
• Measure dosage of medications according to prescription orders, demonstrating attention to detail and precision.
• Process prescriptions using computer software, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Label and record dosage information, ensuring clear communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.

• Prior knowledge of Medicine-On-Time or Dispill Packaging is preferred but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
• Strong critical thinking and customer service skills, enabling effective communication with patients and colleagues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating seamless interactions with healthcare teams.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring precise measurement and recording of medication dosages.
• Strong organizational skills, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bouvier Pharmacy & Home Medical Solutions offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
