Director of Social Services

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Social Services to join our team at The Laurels of Goshen. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing medically-related social services that help our residents attain and/or maintain their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and guide facility staff in matters of residency advocacy, protection, and promotion of resident's rights.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
  • Interview, hire, and train Activity Staff Members.
  • Plan, assign, and direct all aspects of Social Work.
  • Oversight of Activity Department.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. Master's Degree preferred.
  • One year supervised social work experience working directly with individuals in a healthcare setting (preferred).
  • Current Social Work license in the state (preferred).
