Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonography Instructor

ChristianaCare is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonography Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our academic health care provider, you will be responsible for instructing and supervising students in the didactic, laboratory, and clinical phases of their education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides didactic instruction and evaluation for students enrolled in the program.
  • Provides instruction in skills and knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Develops course outlines, objectives, and evaluation tools for designated courses that are consistent with accreditation requirements and college policy.
  • Coordinates clinical rotations with affiliate clinical sites and communicates frequently with students regarding their learning.
  • Provides academic counseling as needed to students during all phases of the educational program.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography plus a BS in a related field.
  • Appropriate credential(s) specific to the concentrations offered.
  • Minimum required ARDMS RDCS (AE) and ARDMS RVT.
  • Multiple active specialty credentials are required.
  • Proficiency in teaching methodology, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and guidance.
