We currently have an exciting opening for a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist – CT Technologist in Greensboro, North Carolina.

About the Job

This 13-week assignment will involve working as a CT Technologist, performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans on patients, and providing vital diagnostic information to physicians. You'll work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive accurate, timely, and safe imaging services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Patient Preparation and Care: Greet and assess patients, explain procedures, position patients correctly, and monitor their condition during scans.
  • CT Scanning and Equipment Operation: Operate CT machines, adjust settings for optimal image quality, administer contrast agents when necessary, and maintain equipment to ensure it's functioning correctly.
  • Collaboration with Medical Team: Work with radiologists and physicians to ensure proper image quality and provide additional scans or follow-up imaging as requested.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately record patient information, including medical history, imaging results, and procedure notes, and maintain electronic health records.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you'll need:

  • An Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • Certification in CT (ARRT-CT) preferred or required within a specified period after hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Previous experience as a CT Technologist is preferred, but new graduates with clinical training may also be considered.
Compensation Package

The compensation package for this position includes a tax-free stipend amount, which will be determined based on your specific needs and qualifications. This assignment offers 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, providing a stable and predictable schedule for your convenience.
