Position Title: Industrial Engineer II
Reports To: Lean Manager
Location: Carrollton Building Wire Plant

Overview:
The Industrial Engineer will leverage expertise to enhance production workflows, improve operational efficiency, and refine processes. This role will employ traditional Industrial Engineering methodologies to assess systems, implement Lean principles, and foster continuous enhancement. The primary focus is on establishing enterprise standards that drive financial performance and elevate customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain comprehensive equipment capability records using standardized documentation, including machine specifications and processing factors.
2. Keep labor process records with standardized documents, such as time studies and method standards.
3. Collaborate with Operations Engineering to develop and audit process documentation for machine capabilities and enterprise data standards.
4. Evaluate process performance using traditional Industrial Engineering techniques to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Propose solutions to enhance Value Stream effectiveness.
5. Support projects through Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, and A3 Problem Solving. Facilitate change management and document process improvements.
6. Conduct cost and data analysis for capital investments, cost-benefit justifications, new product introductions, and capacity assessments.
7. Work with functional teams responsible for system changes and enhancements, acting as the site Subject Matter Expert (SME) and change coordinator for implementation and analysis.
8. Achieve proficiency with enterprise applications necessary for executing primary job functions, including SAP, CableBuilder, Advaris, and JIRA.
