We are seeking qualified candidates for part-time faculty positions in the Biology department at Grand View University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching face-to-face courses in introductory biology, human anatomy, and human physiology.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach introductory biology courses, including labs and lectures
  • Teach human anatomy and human physiology courses, including labs
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in biology or a related field
  • Previous teaching experience, preferably in higher education
  • Relevant experience in the subject area
  • Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in biology or a related field
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
